Aims and scope

Journal of Applied Economics and Policy Studies (JAEPS) is an open-access, peer-reviewed monthly academic journal hosted by the Peking University Research Centre for Market Economy (RCME) and published by EWA Publishing. Centered on real-world economic practice, the journal integrates three core research dimensions: practical application of economic theories, measurable economic output of empirical research, and evidence-backed policy formulation value of rigorous academic outputs. Beyond economic and decision-making value, it highlights industrial empowerment, standardized governance, cross-border exchange and demonstration promotion value of economic research; these multi-layered research values are delivered to university economics researchers, government economic policymakers, enterprise industrial consultants and financial analysts via standardized quantitative research paradigms, industrial decision references and cross-border academic communication channels.

The journal gathers authoritative insights from global economists, industrial operators and policy regulators, abides by unified standardized research specifications and double-blind peer review standards, and puts author experience and rapid publication efficiency as core service priorities. It aims to build a high-efficiency, high-standard international publishing platform, amplify the disciplinary influence and social transformation value of standardized economic research, and deliver actionable theoretical support for high-quality industrial development and top-level economic policy design worldwide.

JAEPS publishes standardized theoretical elaborations and quantitative methodological research covering economics, management, finance and accounting. It focuses on empirical works with tangible industrial application, economic contribution and macro policy reference value, tackling practical industrial dilemmas and hot debates on domestic and international economic and social governance. As an interdisciplinary frontier journal of applied economics, it consolidates cross-disciplinary research achievements, facilitates standardized empirical testing and theoretical iteration, and provides solid academic support for sound economic construction and scientific policy implementation.
